The finale that Dark mixes Morgan Michaels from RuPaul's Drag Race, tantalizing vocals of Mister Heyes haunting melodies to create an irresistible allure that will leave you reaching for the light switch, feel the rhythm, taste the drip, and let the music make you hot as hell. Midsummer Scream in Long Beach, California has announced their lineup as SoCal Halloween attraction Presentations on Saturday, July twenty ninth, Thirteenth Floor Entertainment will preview La Haunted, Hayride, Delusion, and Shaktoberfest. Hot Haunts for Halloween will feature home haunters, local attractions and SoCal traditions, and Knots Berry Farm will honor Knots Scary Farms fiftieth anniversary with a presentation featuring Ken Parks, the corporate director of Creative Development at Cedar Fair, attraction designer John Cook, and not Scary Farm historian and showwriter Ted Doherty. Presentations on Sunday, July thirtieth include The Winchester Mystery House celebrating their one hundredth anniversary, Six Flags Magic Mountain and their thirtieth anniversary of Freightfest, and Universal Studios Hollywood previewing this year's Halloween horror Nights. All Midsummer Screen passes provide access to these special panels. Midsummer Screen will take place July twenty eight through thirtieth at the Long Beach Convention Center. Tickets are on sale now, with single day admission passes starting at thirty five dollars to one hundred and forty dollars for a three day VIP Gold bat Pass. Ocean Park in Aberdeen, Hong Kong, plans to expand its Halloween event with twelve hundred new hires for the twenty twenty three season. This year's event will be the largest in scale since the Pandemics at Events and Entertainment director Eva Ooyng Yiwa. The hires will include five hundred roaming characters, stuntmen and actors if the events haunts and shows, as well as seven hundred front line and support staff, performance coaches, technicians, and event assistants. This is an increase of four hundred temporary staff members over the twenty twenty two season. Hourly rates have also increased by at least ten percent for all positions. Have you ever wanted to face your fears in the darkness? Dark Summer? From Dark Sided Productions in Alcohoone, California will test your nicktophobia limits as you walk the hallowed grounds of an abandoned amusement park with only a flashlight to guide you. The event runs two weekends, July twenty first and twenty second. In twenty eighth and twenty ninth, tickets will be available for pre sale soon followed Dark Sided Productions Facebook page for tickets and event announcements. The Immersive Art Collective i AC has teamed up with LA based artist Shane Izikowski to present Leviathan, a special aquatic themed Gothic event that brings together some of the most prominent creators, artisans, and performers in the SoCal Goths scene. Taking place on Friday July twenty third, from eight pm to two am, Leviathan will be held at IAC's nineteen twenties themed lounge and venue space that Counts Den, located in downtown Los Angeles. The event will feature a range of interactive elements and activities, including a BDSM kink performance by Safe Word La and live painting by Jerry Mulebev and scum Choir op in the Accounts Dan Intimate upstairs Crow's Nest will be bone readings by the Medragorium and magical services performed by Vita Mortis. There will also be a fire performance by Adam Nuke and Court Fort and Go Go Dancing by Vesper. There will be an accompanying night market where guests can purchase dark and unique wares and snacks from local vendors. All of the festivities will be set to music provided by DJ Geist and DJ Baron. Tickets are on sale now for ten dollars each if purchased by eleven fifty nine pm on June twenty second, and eighteen dollars each on the day of the event. Al's Dungeon and Dayton, Ohio will hold a master Class training day with Haunt professionals on Saturday, June twenty fourth, from eleven am to five pm. Classes offered include character development, costume distressing, customer service, makeup, opening a Haunt on a budget, and more. Spirit Halloween will hold the grand opening for their flagship Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey store on July twenty ninth, twenty twenty three. The event will kick off Spirit Halloween's fortieth season with shopping, food, fun and games. The first two hundred fans will receive an exclusive Spirit Halloween fortieth Anniversary swag bag filled with spooky surprises. Entertainment and games will include graveyard bowling, tarot readings, character artists, photo booths, and more. Attendees should arrive no earlier than seven am EST on Friday, July twenty eighth. The event will start at eleven am EEST on Saturday, July twenty ninth. Count Chocola, Frankenberry, Booberry, Fruit, Brute, and Yummy Mummy will have a new ghoulish galpal in the Halloween season, Carmela Creeper, the long lost cousin of Frankenberry. Carmela Creeper is described as a zombie DJ with an edgy sound who is always the life of the part. This new General Mills Limited Edition cereal will feature Carmel Apple flavored pieces with colorful monster marshmallows. Carmela will also take part in this year's Monster Mash Remix cereal that combines the flavors of all six Monsters cereal flavors. These, along with Count Chocola, Frankenberry, and Blueberry cereals, will be available in stores this fall. Disney Plus is developing Hocus Pocus three. In an interview with The New York Times, Sean Bailey, president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, confirmed that the studio is working on another sequel to the Halloween classic. No further details about the production have been announced, but in interviews from last year, star Bett Midler expressed interest in reviving her role as Winifred Sanderson for a third time. Hocus Pocus two was a hit for Disney Plus, setting a record with two point seven billion minutes of viewing in the platform. Is Your Haunted Display or walk through Attraction? Worth fifty thousand dollars? ABC is now casting for the Great Halloween Fright Night. The creators of the Great Christmas Light Freight are taking on Halloween. They are seeking home haunters around the US to feature on their competition show with a grand prize of fifty thousand dollars for one lucky hunter. Casting will take place through the end of July and filming is set for August eighteenth through September eighteenth. Episodes will air this Halloween season. Interested individuals should apply and submitted video of their display via the online form. Some upcoming events from June through August this year include the Texas Haunters Convention July fifteenth and sixteenth in Mesquite, Texas, Horror Ween Con Idaho July twenty first through twenty third in Boise, Idaho, Midsummer Scream July twenty eighth through thirtieth in Long Beach, California, and Ghosts of Summer July twenty ninth and thirtieth in Portland, Oregon. Then into July visit AMS Haunted Attractions in Maryville, Tennessee, Blood Prison in Mansfield, Ohio, Cinema of Horror's Haunted House in Kelso, Washington, Dark Sided Productions in El Cahoone, California, and Ever Haunt in Anglo, New York.
