INSIDE: "Man is the Warmest Place to Hide" John Carpenter Tribute Exhibit at Sugarmynt Gallery

“Man is the Warmest Place to Hide" opened June 25th at Sugarmynt Gallery to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Thing and pays tribute to the 1980s filmography of director John Carpenter. In this video, we’ll visit the exhibit to learn about John Carpenter’s legacy, the curation process, and hear from some of the featured artists about their work. Featured in this video are curators Mark Tavares and Erin Haggerty, plus artists Kevin Smith, Alex DeCarlo, David Igo, Lari Alejandro, and Robbie Rittenhouse.
