Drone crash raises questions about safety and costs in the attractions industry. On December twenty first, multiple drones unexpectedly fell during a holiday show at Lake Iola, Orlando, injuring seven year old Xander Edgerton, who required open heart surgery. The FAA launched an investigation and suspended sky Elements Part one oh seven waiver, effectively vulting all night drone flights over populated areas. Sky Elements has canceled shows nationwide as investigations continue, and Universal Orlando Resort has removed drones from its nighttime spectacular.

After Christmas, Valentine's Day is tied as the most popular time for haunted houses to open for off season events. We've begun populating a list of haunted houses opening for Valentine's Day, with the dates ranging from February eighth through February twenty first, suggesting a few haunted houses will try to extend the holiday. The Halloween in Costume Association the HCA will host the inaugural Spooky Awards at the Halloween and Party Expo in Las Vegas on January fourteenth, twenty twenty five, at five pm. This event celebrates innovation and creativity in Halloween costumes, accessories, and decre with finalist judge on artistry, marketability, and trendsetting potential. The Haunted Attraction Association is accepting scholarship applications until January thirty, first of twenty twenty five. Eligible members, including family and staff of small and large haunts and vendors, can apply for two one thousand dollars college scholarships and one one thousand dollars makeup scholarship. The Haunted Attraction Association is calling for donations for its annual auction at trans Worlds Halloween and Attraction Show. Proceeds help fund vital industry initiatives like the OSCARS Awards and scholarships.
