NEWS: Scream Break Returns; John Wick Experience

Scream Break returns for its second year to six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, on Fridays and Saturdays from March twenty second through April thirteenth. The after hours event runs from nine pm to midnight and includes access to two haunted houses, saw and Condemned House Party, three scare zones, exclusive food, two DJs, and of course, rides in the dark on select attractions. Tickets are one now with single night admission for forty dollars per person. Admission is free for pass holders, with limited reservations available online and at the park on a first come, first serve basis.

1:10 In describing this year's event, Magic Mountain Interim Park President Jeff Harris said, screen Break combines the party and fun of Spring Break with exhilarating and haunting entertainment. Disneyland's Halloween Half Marathon weekend events have already sold out within days of opening for registrations. This new run disney event is September fifth through the eighth of twenty twenty four at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The weekend's slate of events include Disneyland Yoga with Goofy, Disneyland Halloween five K hosted by Chippendale with Trick or Treating, Disneyland Halloween ten K themed after the Haunted Mansion, Disneyland Half Marathon hosted by Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clara Bell, Cow Run, Disney Kids Races, and the Chills and Thrills Challenge hosted by Jack Skellington, Sally and Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas. A new john Wick Experience is coming to Area fifteen in Las Vegas later this year. The twelve thousand square foot attraction will blend immersive theater and highly themed cinematic environments to create an interactive journey through the underworld of john Wick. The official description reads, Guests will step through the doors of the Las Vegas Continental and into the fantastical underworld of john Wick, where they navigate a high stakes adventure, as well as visit the themed bar and retail shop open to the general public. The john Wick Experience will be created in collaboration with Egan Productions, which is the same company that made the official Saw Escape and The Escape Blair Witch in Las

2:40 Vegas. A new immersive horror experience from Blumhouse and Lionsgate is coming to SoCal but reservations have already sold out within just a few days. In Blumhouse Presents Chauncey's Imaginary Playhouse, guests will step into the world of the upcoming horror film. Imaginary Guests can play with Chauncey through six rooms across two floors filled with spine tingling, jump scares, perception altering audio visuals, and scene recreations. Two new after dark events are coming to the Winchester Mystery House this spring Paranormal Investigation with TAP's West Coast and Halfway to Halloween Flashlight Tours. Let's focus on the Flashlight Tours. The Flashlight Tours will be offered April twenty sixth and twenty seventh, and May third and fourth, starting at six pm each evening.

3:29 The self guided tour allows brave guests to explore the dark halls while hearing unnerving stories of the home's haunted history. Tickets are on sale now, starting at forty nine ninety nine for adults and twenty nine ninety nine for children under twelve. And now let's head over to some convention news. Tickets are now on sale for trans World's East Coast Haunters Convention, which is happening in April twenty seventh through the twenty eighth at the Greater Philadelphia ExpoCenter. The East Coast Haunters Convention is Transworld's newest edition into their slate of Halloween industry expos The regional event will feature premiere haunted house tours, networking events, evening parties, and a lively exhibit floor. Unlike Transworld's flagship trade show, this event is open to the public and early bird tickets start at forty dollars to fifty dollars for single day show floor admission and sixty five dollars for weekend show floor access. Sci Fi has announced new seasons of Chucky and Reginald the Vampire coming this spring.

4:30 Chucky's second half of season three will premiere on April tenth, and Reginald the Vampire will return for its second season on May eighth. A Bewitched series reboot is currently in the works at Sony Pictures TV. The producers describe it as an irreverent, hour long reimagining of the classic TV series. A release date for the reboot has not been announced. Spirit Halloween donated sixty one thousand dollars to a children's hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. The funds were raised during the store's annual Spirit of Children campaign last Halloween. The company also gifted thousands of dollars in costumes, decorations, and crafts to make the hospital more festive during Halloween. First, of course, March seventh through the tenth is Transworld's Halloween and Attraction Show, happening in Saint Louis, Missouri. April twelfth is Fear Expo in Owensboro, Kentucky.

5:24 April twenty sixth through the twenty eighth is the Spooky Swap Meat happening in Los Angeles. And April twenty seventh through the twenty eighth is the East Coast Hauntredge Convention happening in Oaks, Pennsylvania. And that's all for the news this week.
