NEWS: Maze Delays Plague Six Flags Fright Fest Extreme Nationwide

The Hush Haunted Attraction in Westland, Michigan, has returned to the Detroit metro area with three haunts, three bars, and expanded live entertainment for twenty twenty four. Philip Bernandez of the Haunted Attraction Network was there opening night to take a tour of the mazes and bars. Running twenty five select nights through November two, Hush has debuted several editions incl uoing a new stage for enhanced live performances, new drink menus for their three secret bars, and new viewing deck at the Voodoo Blues Bar, and renovated scenes at each of the haunts. The Hush Falls Harvest and the Fall Festival will feature live music, fire dancers, aerialists, and more.

1:17 On October twenty seventh, enjoy a family friendly afternoon of fund with their Monster Meet and Greet. Enjoy lights on walkthroughs of the haunts, meet the monsters, and collect candy. Tickets for Hush are on sale now starting from nineteen ninety nine to thirty two ninety nine for general admission. Peacock and Blumhouse invite you to face your fears when they take over the Loge at the iconic Stanley Hotel in Estays Park, Colorado October eighteenth through twentieth for the Overnightmare, an immersive overnight experience set against the ominous backdrop of the Stanley Hotel, the place that inspired Stephen King's classic horror novel The Shining Step and Sleep Inside the worlds of Insiduous, The Purge, Freaky, and and Happy Death Day.

2:01 Each evening will feature and after dark experiences. Guests are pulled from their rooms for one of four personalized, poly immersive activations inspired by each of the Blumhouse films and featuring interactive characters, narratives, and scares. Guests will be able to choose their scare level from one to four Daggers. Throughout the weekend, guests will be able to visit the Teacup Room, a spooky salon that will take guests inside the world of their new thriller series produced by Jamee Wand's Atomic Monster exclusively on Peacock, and the Blumhouse Bar, a haven for horror fans to have a sip and scare and play the company's upcoming video game, Hear the Spotlight. Overnightmare packages start at one thousand and thirty one dollars and include lodging, an admission for up to two people, one scare experience per guest, a complimentary welcome dinner, one hundred dollars credit toward breakfast, ed or lunch, two drink tickets, free nightly screenings, interactive moments, photo ops, and more. As of September twenty seventh, though I'll packages are currently sold out, frights are creeping back to Angola, New York when ever Haunt.

3:05 Haunted House reopens for the Halloween season on Saturday, October fifth. This year's event will feature numerous new experiences, including the Curse of the Mummy Escape Room, Delaware Creek Horror Boutique, and The Triage, a simulation experience of terrifying guests before they even enter the haunts. Ever Haunt contains multiple haunts, midway games, coffin rides, escape rooms, virtual reality rides, photo ops, a local horror story show, and the popular Delaware Creek Pumpkin Spectacular. Also returning this year is the event's horror Icon series, where guests can meet horror celebrities select weekends. This year's series is headlined by Tyler Maine, best known for his work as Michael Myers in rob Zombies Halloween movies and Sabertooth in the X Men franchise. Ever Haunt has continued their partnership with several charities in this season, including Kids Escaping Drugs, Operation Good Neighbor, and Shine Bright Little Fright. The event runs select nights October fifth through thirty five. First tickets are on sale now starting at twenty nine ninety eight for general admission forty four ninety nine for the VIP fast pass. Chuck E Cheese is bringing back its popular Halloween Bootacular for its fifth year, running now through October thirty first every day through Halloween, The celebration will include free e tickets, nightly free candy.

4:20 Haunted house, dance parties, Pumpkin shaped pizza, limited time menu items and merch and more. We know that kids love the Helloween season, and we've made it more affordable for families to visit all month long, said Mark Kupferman, executive vice president of Chuck e Cheese. Every child in costume gets five hundred bonus E tickets on every visit. Fun pass holders get unlimited visits and up to two hundred and fifty play points on the Gold Pass, and parents can feel safe because we're tailored this experience just for them. The lays of plagued freight Fest Extreme It's six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey. Prior to the events Friday, September thirteenth, opening, park officials announced to it open as a preview that evening instead, with only certain mazes being operational. On September eighteenth, the park released a statement that the preview period would be extended another week.

5:08 As of this past weekend. Texas Chainsaw, Trick or Treat and Stranger Things mazes are still listed as coming soon on the website, and they have not been advertised open on the park's official social media channels. Stacey Wheeler, the spokesperson for six Flags Great Adventure, released a statement on the delays. Due to unforeseen circumstances, some of our mazes are opening later than expected, but during our fright Fest Extreme Preview weekends, guests had the unique chance to enjoy all of our fall events, Kids Boofest, Octoberfest, and of course FrightFest Extreme, all included with their daily park admission. Guests have been critical of the delays, especially since many had purchased higher tier season passes to have access to the separately ticketed maze during FrightFest Extreme. Six Flags Great Adventure is not the only six Flags park that has seen delays in opening their haunts. In this week's Green Tagged Theme Park in thirty, Philip and Scott discussed this trend, the possible causes and potential effects on the park and the ips involved. King's Dominion and Doswell. Virginia erupted into what the Henover Sheriff Saw has described as mass chaos as a handful of people brawled and hundreds of onlookers became disorderly around nine pm on Saturday, September twenty first.

6:19 The Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a fight inside the park's arcade area. We had a handful of people fighting, surrounded by hundreds of people that were encouraging it, egging it on being disorderly, being difficult for us to get through the crowd to get to the middle of what was going on, said Sergeant Steve Wills. And then as we started flushing them out of the arcade, the group goes outside and just spreads to the outside now and then somebody screams gun and the next thing you know, we have a flood of all these people we just kicked out of the arcade coming rushing back in as we are trying to restore order and get outside to see if there is somebody with a gun. It was mass chaos. The situation was eventually contained and no major injuries have been reported. As of Tuesday, September two, twenty fourth, no arrests were made in relation to the incident. King's Dominion released a statement. In the incident, a minor physical altercation occurred among some juvenile seeking refuge in the park's Candy Apple Grove area after rides were temporarily shut down due to inclement weather, but was quickly halted by the security team and the parties involved were subsequently banned from the park. Normal operations resumed once the weather cleared the area.

This comes immediately after another altercation and stabbing incident at Bush Gardens, Williamsburg, further fueling debate over teen admission to Halloween events. Prior to the start of the Halloween season, King's Dominion had implemented a chaperone policy, which was in effect on the date of the incident. All guests ages fifteen years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least twenty one years old, to be admitted to or remain in the park past four pm daily. The chaperone may accompany up to ten guests per day, must remain inside the park during the visit, and be a available by phone throughout their stay. Articles on the incident did not mention the exact ages of the parties involved, nor did they mention whether chaperones were present during the altercation. Uber Technologies and Spirit Halloween are partnering to offer consumers an easier way to get all their Halloween needs. Halloween fans in the US and Canada can now shop Spirit Halloween on Uber, Eats, Postmates, and the Uber app. The Spirit Halloween Catalog will be available to shop on Uber at the same price consumers will find in any of the chains one, five and twenty five locations. Uber one members will benefit from zero dollar delivery fees in five percent discounts and all Spirit Halloween orders with a thirty five dollars minimum purchase, and all consumers will benefit from up to forty percent off their next Spirit Halloween order I fifty dollars or more through Helloween.

Got Ghosts. The video doorbell and security company Ring will pay you to escape your haunted house with Ring's Great Ghost Search. From real paranormal proof to family and friends in costume. Ring is looking for the country's greatest ghost sightings, whether seriously spectral or sublimely silly. Ring users can submit videos of paranormal activities captured on their Ring doorbeller camera now through November one of twenty twenty four for a chance to win a grand prize of one hundred thousand dollars. To enter, log into your ring account and follow the instructions.

9:30 Video clips must be thirty seconds or less and captured on an existing Ring device, while eligibility requirements can be found on their official website rules. Anaheim Beautiful in Anaheim, California, is hosting their twenty twenty four Fall and Halloween Home decorating contest. Residents are encouraged to make Anaheim beautiful and festive, whether it be through traditional pumpkins and scarecrows, to witches in spooky lighting, or anything in between. Entries will be judged on concept, creativity, and originality. The registration deadline is midnight Pacific daylight time on October thirteenth. Entrance should have their home decorated from October sixteenth through thirty first. Decorations must be visible when walking in the neighborhood or driving by in the car. No haunts or walkthrough experiences will be judged. Prizes include home depot gift cards, seventy five for first place, fifty for second place, and twenty five for third WKYC three Studios in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking the best Halloween home displays in the northeast Ohio area.

10:32 The station is building a guide for residents to find the coolest, creepiest and spooky Halloween displays for twenty twenty four. They are seeking submissions for homes to feature. Interested haunters should send an email to Halloween at WKYC dot com with Halloween Submission in the headline, include your name address in a photo and video with a description of the display. Selected homes will be featured in their guide and may appear on one of their TV news broadcasts. Ahead of their upcoming sixth album release in October, First Lovecraft has released the single Halloween Hop. This is the spooky dance anthem We've all been waiting for, as a collaboration with award winning actor David Desmalchian and horror content creator Thunderwolf.
