In its latest quarterly earnings call, six Flags floated the possibility of the sale or closure of some of its forty two theme parks and water parks across North America after merging with Cedar Fair this past July. Six Flags cited portfolio optimization as a key objective as they move forward, and promised a comprehensive review of the portfolio to evaluate the potential divestiture of non core assets to help reduce leverage. Many analysts assume this means potential closures or the selling off of underperforming assets. The company currently owns seven of the top twenty North American amusement parks based on annual attendance according to a Tea slash AECOM annual report, including notts Berry Farm, Cedar Point, King's Island, six Flags, Magic Mountain, and Canada's Wonderland. Philip and Scott discussed six Flags Q three earnings report in the company's new three year plan project Accelerate. In this week's episode of Green tagged the attendants dipping slightly, but still per capita spending climbing. Six Flags has pivoted to a revenue over quantity strategy at a trend echoing the broader theme

2:29 park industry. Project Accelerate aims to boost attendance to fifty five million guests and reach a thirty five percent modified a BITTED margin by twenty twenty seven. Key objectives of the plan include enhanced guest experience, margin expansion, disciplined capital allocation, IT system integration, and portfolio optimization. However, the plan has few specific measurable goals. Six Flags did mention that Halloween is critical to their annual earnings, so it is likely freight Fest and other Halloween events will continue even if they close or sell a few theme parks. F Telling Theme Park in Katashuvl, Netherlands, opened the doors to its newest dark ride, Dance Macob on helloween, two years in the making. Dance Macab both a unique ride system by Intimate where guests will sit on one of six choir stalls on top of turntables at spin, rise, tilt and fall to the classic dance Macab by French composer Camille Saint San dance macob is unique in the industry, said Cohen Sanders, director of Product Marketing and Image. Combined with a haunted show experience, visitors will be frightening the f Telling Way like never before, with a focus on the story of the entire themed area. Some five hundred colleagues have worked hard for months to build this exceptional attraction, and I am extremely proud of the final result. The attraction sits within a new spooky themed area with catering, retail, and entertainment orin Verge head designer praised the area, saying it is the first time at f Telling that we are realizing a completely new themed area in one go,

4:02 adding hospitality and retail in addition to a major attraction. The entire themed area has been designed with great respect for and inspired by the iconic building of the Spooks a Lot Haunted House. I am proud that my drawings were brought to life so beautifully by all the skilled people involved. If Telling visitors those who dare, of course, will be completely immersed in a spooky world of the dance macabre. A recent article by Theme Park Insider took an in depth look at Universal Studio Beijing's Halloween event Scares at Universal. In its second year, the event has expanded to three haunts and two scare zones with meet and greets, merchandise, and photo ops. Unlike their overseas counterparts, all the mazes and scare zones remain unrelated to existing movie or television intellectual property. Mazes include Jack Circus, headlined by HHN Orlando's icon characters Jack the Clown and chance House Number eighty one inspired by the infamous Haunted Mansion in Beijing, and Freaky Farm, the Evil Pumpkin themed returning maze from the inaugura Scares at Universal. The article discusses how the Helloween event successfully navigates the cultural and political sensitivities that exist in China, including the belief that ghosts are the spirits of ancestors, the high societal value placed on safety and security, and the recent government crackdown on the way some Helloween revelers have used a holiday to openly criticize the government. During this past week's D twenty three, Brazil Disney Parks, headed Josh Damero announced new details about the upcoming Villain's Land at Walt Disney World. In our story, a mysterious spell has been cast, summoning villains from every

5:33 realm in this land. Heroes don't come to save the day, and there may not be a happily ever after. During his presentation, he stood in front of an image showing portraits of thirteen classic Disney villains, including the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Ja'afar from Aladdin, Lady Tremaine from Cinderella, Isma from the Emperor's New Groove, Cruella de Ville from One hundred and One Dalmatians, Captain Hook from Peter Pan, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Mother Gothel from Tangled, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Hadies from Hercules, Chernibog from Fantasia, the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. Each of these characters can be expected to populate the new land concept art for the land tease two major attractions, along with shopping and dining establishments. An estimated opening date has yet to be announced for the much anticipated new area.

In their partnership with Six Flags fright Fest Extreme, RWs brought to life the popular ips of Saw Stranger Things, Army of the Dead, The Conjuring Annabelle, the Nun, Trick or Treat and Texas Chainsaw Massacre the twenty twenty two version.

The Doncaster Fear Factory in Doncaster, UK is facing opposition to their application to change the use of the land at Thornhurst Manor country Park into an outdoor attraction with marquees, event structures and shipping containers. Doncaster Fear Factory runs for two weeks each October and accommodates up to two hundred visitors per evening. Event organizers cite that the event brings one hundred and forty seasonal jobs to the city and attendees support the local economy. The Paris Council, however, opposes the event's application, stating that previous events have been poorly managed with many complaints, and that the management of thornbursts have no regard for the local population.

8:46 Other concerns included the lack of adequate parking. Senior Environmental Health Officer Fiona boy Thru did note, however, that the Fear Factory has been in operation for four years and there have never been any noise complaints or other issues associations with the running of the event on the site. The application was meant to be determined by October twenty second, but the decision still has not yet been made by the council. From Scary to Mary, eight Spirit Halloween stores in the Northeast portion of the US will transform into Spirit Christmas for the twenty twenty four holiday season with all new holiday merchandise. The stores are advertised to provide a unique shopping experience with acoor gifts, stocking stuffers, apparel, and more. Sections of note include inflatable land filled with inflatable outdoor display pieces, kitchen ambath decore and creepments featuring Crampis related decorations, and other spooky Halloween fair In addition to shopping, Spirit Christmas will feature Gingerbread Village, photo ops, a North Bowl Post office where children can mail their letters to Santa and Santa Meet and greets.
