NEWS: Halloween Horror Nights Returns Aug 30; Haunter Summer Camp

This year, the horror begins earlier than ever, as Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, Florida return on select nights from August thirtieth through November third. This marks the first time that HHN is creeped into August, and the chills and thrills will once again last past Halloween.

0:56 Halloween Horror Nights twenty twenty four will feature ten all new movie quality haunted houses, five scare zones, a live show, food and beverages inspired by this year's haunts, new merch in the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store, and Universal Studios Florida's most exciting attractions. Single night event tickets, Express passes and vacation packages for Halloween Horror Nights are on sale now starting at eighty two to ninety nine for single night general admission, one twenty nine ninety nine for the Express Pass upgrade, and three point fifty nine ninety nine for the nighttime Rip tour. For guests who can't wait to peek at what's in store this year, there is also a behind the Screams on Masking the Horror Tour, available starting at ninety nine ninety nine per person for select days beginning August eleven.

1:42 This is the first time the tour will be available prior to the opening night of Halloween Horror Nights. Guests can also start to get into the Halloween Horror Nite spirit early with an all new merchandise collection featuring a T shirt at and tumber celebrating that Universal Orlando is where Horror Lives. This merchan is available online and at five dime at Universal Studios, Florida, as well as All Hellos Eve boutique at Islands of Adventure, Double m Haunted hay Rides, and Haunted Houses in Boston, SPA. New York is hosting a Halfway to Halloween event on May eighteenth. The event will begin with the screening of Halloween from twenty eighteen. Stay alert as you watch Michael slash and slay because the creatures of Double m will be lurking amongst the crowd. Following the film, attendees will journey to two haunted houses, miss Edna's Manor and Secret Society. Tickets are on sale now for twenty five dollars per person. Children under the age of seventeen must be accompanied by an adult. May seventeenth and eighteenth, The Deranged Haunt Detroit in Romulus, Michigan, returns for its third annual Halfway to Halloween celebration. This year, Deranged fictional town of Covensfield will be hosting their election for mayor at the Halfway to Halloween event. Come meet current mayor Conwell in his campaign as he fights for your vote to this October's election, where guests of Deranged get to cast their ballot and elect a mayor. Tickets are Onziel now, starting at twenty two dollars for general admission and thirty two dollars for fast pass admission. Nostalgic Nebula presents sleep Away Camp from nineteen eighty three commentary

Join star Felyssa Rose and Dave Sheridan for a special screening of sleep Away Camp as they provide live commentary during the film, giving you a behind the scenes look at the production, hilarious anecdotes, and cinema secrets. Stick around after the show for an opportunity to meet Felissa and Dave, who will be attending as Ronnie, the camp counselor get autographs, grab some prints and other killer merch. A recent online article featured haunt Fest founder and CEO Roseanne Harpold explaining her recent April Ghouls event in Athens, Georgia, their marketing efforts, and plans for the future. After a successful debut of haunt Fest Mayhem in May twenty twenty three, Harpold expanded the festival to two days this year, utilizing Southern Brewing Company's expansive space to include

4:46 more attractions, vendors, and based on feedback from the previous year activities for all ages. Leading up to this year's event, the haunt Fest team organized a plethora of auxiliary events to improve outreach and help to the local community of horror fans. Haunt Fest pop ups, horror trivia nights, and flash dance mobs served as fun marketing tactics to draw interest in the festival. A continuing weekly horror Enthusiast Meet and Greet invites the community for a casual evening of games and getting to know each other. This weekly gathering helps to foster and grow the local horror community as well as create excitement for future events. Harpold has booked to venue to host a haunt Fest event in Southern Carolina this December, and she hopes to continue an annual festival in Athens as well as other traveling events year round. Children can have spooky summer fun at Camp Nowhere Youth Haunt Actor Theater Day Camp presented by Nowhere Haunted House in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

5:43 This one of a kind summer camp is designed for kids ages eight to twelve with an interest in acting, haunted houses and theater. The five day camp will teach budding actors the genre of haunt acting, as well as behind the scene tricks and techniques for working in a haunted attraction, from scar acting to animatronics to make up. Kids will develop an original character with its own backstory, motivations, and interests. They will design makeup or a mask for their character, create props, and put together a costume. Throughout the week, campers will learn scare acting techniques from actors in the field, personalize a set for their character, and practice what they learn inside Nowhere Haunted House. The final day of the camp, there will be a performance for the campus families a walk through of the Haunt, complete with show lighting, audio, and newly trained Haunt actors in professional makeup and costumes. There will be three sessions available for eight to twenty students each June seventeenth through twenty first, June twenty four through twenty eighth, and July fifteenth through nineteenth. Fear XBO takes place this weekend, April twelve through fourteenth, at the Owensboro Convention Center in Owensboro, Kentucky.
