After nearly a year away, the classic Haunted Mansion at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, reopened on January eighteenth with an updated attic scene and a new version of the iconic Ghostly Bride. This new bride is similar to the original Beating Heart bride that had been in the mansion prior to the addition of the axe murdering Bride constance in two thousand and six. The bride has a somber facial expression and holds a ghostly candelabra, which can be seen floating in two other scenes throughout the ride, the Endless Hallway and in the Graveyard finale. In an LA Times interview, imagineer Kim Irvine discussed the change. We thought, what if we change the story back a little bit to the original story that the imagineers had about a lost bride in the attic mourning the loss of her husband's It was a sad thing. Dark Universe, the Universal Monsters themed land at Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida, continues to take shape. New construction photos from Attractions Magazines show that a purple orb has been added to the land's main entrance. Sowds have been completed for the Burning Blade tavern restaurant, and Monsters unchained the Frankenstein experiment, and more dressings have been added to the Curse of the Werewolf queue. Fear Fast Haunted Attractions out of Columbia, Missouri, has been given a rating of f by the Better Business Bureau after several people reported still waiting for refunds after the event failed to open this Halloween season. Fear Fast owner Bill Schnell never opened his Haunt this season after fire inspectors found fifteen safety concerns on their annual inspection, including violations with electrical safety codes, not having enough fire extinguishers, and extension cords used as permanent wiring, some cords being more than twenty years old. Council members for Dairy Halloween in London, Dairy UK overwhelmingly rejected a proposal to charge admission to the festivals Awakening the Walls event in twenty twenty five. The Walls as a trail surrounded by the city's historic walls that explores the folklore, history and heritage of the area. 3:13 had suggested charging ticket prices of three pounds per person or ten pound for a family ticket, which is two adults of two children to maintain the event's world class standard. Some council members expressed concerns over excluding groups who could afford the fee. Shine Fan councilor Grace Ouien Naale explained her rejectioned vote stating, affordability for everyone is different, and so it is very hard to say that there is no equality impact. Members also cited anger from locals and bad precedent as reasons they did not support the proposal. The committee did agree, however, that they should consider inducing a ticketing system to manage crowd numbers that exceeded one hundred and twenty thousand people and reduce long queue Line'll learn more about darry Halloween in this year's festivities on their official website. A Memphis, Tennessee area woman, Alexis Latrell is going to court over leaving her Halloween skeletons up year round. Latrel has an eight foot tall skeleton and matching skeleton dog that she has been dressing up for each holiday since this past Halloween. In early December, however, she received a warning from a Germantown compliance officer that cited a city ordinance limiting how long any seasonal display decorations can be displayed. According to the ordinance, decorations can be installed within forty five days of a holiday and must be removed within thirty days of the holiday. The city is deemed the skeletons as Halloween decorations. Despite the ever changing outfits to match each new holiday's theme, nine citations have been issued for similar displays in the area in December. Of those, eight residents removed their skeletons.
