What Haunts the Haunted house Industry? This week's Marketplace radio program from American Public Media and NPR focused on the haunt industry and the challenge it faces. The Haunted Attraction Network's own Philip Pernandez, contributed to the piece, sharing the observations and how scarce labor and supply chain issues affect this subset of the themed entertainment industry. Also featured Freightmare Farm staff, including co owner Nicole Ginsberg and assistant manager Sam Hurwood, celebrated decade of Sir Henry's Haunted Trail in Plant City, Florida, with the Ultimate VIP Experience, Sir Henry's Legacy, a ten year retrospective. The November fourth. Event offers a limited number of fans early front of the line entry to each attraction, refreshments and behind the scenes panel, a silent auction, a rare collectible souvenir, and a unique photo opportunity with Sir Henry himself. Tickets are on sale now for seventy five dollars per person. Universal Destinations and Experiences announced the name for its new year long horror destination in Las Vegas, Nevada, Universal Horror Unleashed.

1:41 The brand new experiential attraction will be located in the Area fifteen Immersive Entertainment district. The twenty acre area will feature a variety of unique, immersive and horror centric experiences that will surround erie eateries and bone chilling bar areas. Universal Horror Unleashed will be a continuously updated experience with must see seasonal events and one of a kind merchandise. The Universal Horror Unleashed is another way we are using our unique style of horror storytelling to engage fans of this genre, said Page Thompson, President New Ventures, Universal Destinations and Experiences, in a statement. We look forward to bringing a frightful fun to Las Vegas year round just in time for Halloween, The Disney Blog announced that the first ever Haunted Mansion Bar will be coming to the Disney Treasure Cruise ship in twenty twenty four. From inspired craft cocktails and an exclusive onboard merchandise collection to nostalgic decor and beloved characters, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will immerse guests in the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion Saga, bringing this fan favorite lord of life in a whole new way.

2:44 The one of a kind experience will be a swinging waken like any other, that of the jovial captain who entered the ghostly realm after a disastrous dinner with his beloved fiance. The Haunted Mansion Parlor is one of several Disney Parks inspired venues that will debut on board the Disney Treasure. The exciting lineup will also include Skipper Society, a lounge inspired by the Jungle Cruise Parks attraction, a Periscope pub, which is inspired by the twenty thousand Leagues under the Sea Legacy Parks attraction. In a recent New York Times article, professional pumpkin carver Adam Burton discussed the path through his unusual job and shared some tips of the trade. To carve the perfect pumpkin this season, I bathe all my pumpkins and store them with a fan blowing on them so bugs don't get in there.

3:24 Then the first step is to peel the pumpkin. You remove the hard orange skin, which allows access to that beautiful flesh that's underneath, which is great for sculpting next to a block in the face with a ribbon tool. I'm kind of playing with perspective and drawing with shadow. The deeper the cut, the darker the shadow. Gradually I start to work with smaller tools and finish with knife work. What's the biggest mistake the average person makes when carving their own jack O lanters. According to Burton, it's cutting a hole in the top of the pumpkin. Instead, he suggests go in through the back by cutting a square or an octagon. Cutting a hole in the top of the pumpkin takes away from the carecharacter of a long ornate stem. People cut the bottom two. That's not good because the juice ends up everywhere. Jack O l entrons did not have to end up in the local landfill after Halloween.

4:09 Once they have adorned your porch, for the festive evening. Pumpkins can be composted, left as a snack for backyard wildlife, or donated to a community garden. Farmer Zoo Need ideas where to donate pumpkins for pigs has a map of animal farms, sanctuaries, and rescues across the US that except pumpkin donations. Donated pumpkins are excellent feed and a wonderful treat to the animals.
